For years, rumors of what happens at the Jenkins trailer have been ignored in Truluck, a small railroad town on the South Carolina coast. But, when dangerous “accidents” begin to impact the town’s resurgence, the most notorious Truluck native can no longer be ignored.

Harper Jenkins returns from Chicago after a ten-year absence. She’s no longer a girl from the wrong side of the tracks wearing hand-me-down’s and smelling of poverty.
